Bathroom

Antique prints and advertising items, old photographs with satiric captions, and other wit and whimsy crowd this room. Most people look up at the wainscoted "vertical tunnel" that Julian H. Sleeper had built as an atrium to let natura1 daylight into a room rendered windowless by 1893 additions. The bathroom and kitchen are papered in Anaglypta, a British Victorian textured wall covering that, after being given two coats of paint, is washable.
